Trust Center

Practical security and privacy information for Uppzy customers.

This page explains how Uppzy approaches customer data, platform safeguards, privacy requests, retention, and service providers without overstating certifications or unpublished reports.

Trust foundation

Overview

Uppzy helps businesses train AI customer agents on approved knowledge sources, deploy them across customer channels, and review the conversations and insights created by those agents.

Customer-provided knowledge sources, documents, website content, and Q&A entries are used to power your AI agent experience.

Account activity, chat-related inputs and outputs, technical logs, and subscription metadata may be processed to provide and secure the service.

Trust information is kept practical here: what data is involved, how it is handled, which policies apply, and how to contact Uppzy about privacy or security questions.

Service data

Data handling

Uppzy processes data needed to operate the product, support customers, maintain account access, and keep the service reliable.

Account and identity data: names, email addresses, account identifiers, team membership, and authentication-related records.

Usage and device data: IP address, browser information, events, diagnostics, rate-limit signals, and security-related logs.

Customer content: uploaded documents, website content, knowledge base entries, chat inputs, AI outputs, and conversation context submitted to the service.

Billing metadata: plan, subscription, checkout, and invoice records. Full payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Uppzy.

Product safeguards

Security controls

Security controls are designed around account protection, credential handling, access control, abuse prevention, and incident response.

Traffic to Uppzy services is served over HTTPS/TLS.

API keys and credentials must be protected by users and must not be shared publicly.

Rate limits, fair-use controls, abuse monitoring, and suspension controls may be used to protect the platform.

Access to service data is limited to what is needed for service delivery, support, security operations, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

If a personal data breach occurs, Uppzy follows applicable notification requirements and response procedures.
