This policy explains what personal data Uppzy Software LLC ("Uppzy", "we", "us") collects when you use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Uppzy you agree to the practices described here.

1Data we collect

We collect the information needed to run your account and deliver the service:

  • Account information — your email address, a hashed password, and optional profile details if you sign in with Google.
  • Content you submit — video links you paste, media you upload, and the transcripts and clips generated from it.
  • Connected social accounts — if you link an account, we store encrypted access and refresh tokens, never your platform password.
  • Technical logs — server activity and processing records used for security and reliability.

2How we use your data

We use collected information to process your content, authenticate you, track credit balances, publish to connected social platforms only when you initiate the action, and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

3Connected accounts

Connections to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, and TikTok are optional and can be revoked at any time. Each connection is granted only the permissions required for publishing on your behalf.

4Service providers

We share data with a small set of providers, each handling a specific task:

  • Cloudflare R2 — storage
  • Groq — transcription
  • Anthropic — analysis
  • RunPod — rendering
  • Connected social platforms — publishing, only when you request it

5Data retention

Source videos and generated clips are automatically deleted 7 days after creation. Saved project clips remain for up to 30 days. Uploaded media persists until you delete it. Account records are kept indefinitely; after a deletion request, your data is erased within 30 days.

6Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and social tokens are encrypted with AES-GCM. File downloads use short-lived signed URLs — never public buckets.

7Your rights

Under the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account directly from the app, or contact us to exercise any of these rights. See our Data Deletion page for details.
