Data Deletion
You can remove your data from Uppzy in one of three ways, depending on how much of your account you want to keep.
1Disconnect a social account
To remove access to a single platform while keeping your Uppzy account and clips, go to Settings → Connected accounts and select Disconnect. Stored access and refresh tokens for that connection are deleted immediately. You can also revoke access directly through the provider's own security settings.
2Delete your entire account
To remove your account completely, sign in and go to Settings, select a reason, confirm with your password, and type the confirmation word. You are signed out across all devices immediately.
3Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in, email us from your registered address with "Data deletion request" as the subject line, and we will process the request manually.
4Deletion timeline
Active sessions and social account connections are removed immediately. Videos, clips, transcripts, analysis data and account identifying information undergo permanent erasure from storage 30 days after the request. The 30-day window is a recovery period — contact us within that time and we can restore your account. After 30 days, deletion is irreversible. Financial records are anonymised and retained for accounting purposes but cannot be linked back to you.
